I wouldn’t quite call Burberry Lip Mist No. 206 “Blueberry”. I think it is much closer to a wine color. I guess it could be like a Blueberry stain. Regardless of the name, this is an easy to wear not overly vampy dark burgundy color. It takes a few swipes to really build up the intensity of this color, making it versatile and not scary to wear. What really stoke me as unique for this shade is how different it looks in the shade and in direct sunlight. Usually shades just go darker or brighter, but this one seems to change even in texture. In the shade this is a beautiful glossy red wine shade. However, in direct sunlight in turn into a jelly-like bright burgundy stain. This shade definitely allows my pigmented lips to show a bit.

Despite the fact that this is the darkest shade available for Burberry Lip Mists, it only lasts about 2 hours. This is due to the sheerer nature of this shade in particular than other Lip Mists. Blueberry does not leave a stain after the color disappears either. Despite the lack of staying power of I enjoy this shade quite a bit. The color is so easy to wear and surprisingly flattering.
When compared to my stash of Chanel Rouge Coco Shines and Dior Addict Lipsticks I found a close relative of Blueberry. Chanel RCS in 65 Cavalière pulls just a smidgen more purple than Burberry Blueberry and adds multicolor green, gold and purple micro shimmer to the mix. On my lips the difference is almost imperceptible unless in direct sunlight, although the texture of the Burberry Lip Mist is much glossier.
Burberry Lip Mist No. 206 Blueberry is an amazing color that will be flattering on many skin tones; it even seems to be the best selling Lip Mist. Pale gals must not be afraid of this seemingly vampy lipstick as it is easy to work with. This color is not particularly original but the texture and finish make this shade work amazingly. If you do not have anything like it in your stash I would recommend you check it out!
Burberry Lip Mists retail from $30 (3.5 g - .12 Oz) and are sold exclusively at Nordstrom.
